As electronic music legend Fatboy Slim prepares to celebrate four decades in the industry, the iconic DJ has announced his “Acid Ballroom” UK headline tour scheduled for February 2026. The tour, featuring two-night residencies at several iconic venues, will showcase Norman Cook’s enduring influence on dance culture while commemorating his remarkable 40-year career.

The extensive tour includes multiple high-profile stops at prestigious locations across the United Kingdom. Alexandra Palace in London will host two nights of the residency in February 2026, while Glasgow’s historic Barrowland Ballroom is confirmed for performances on February 27-28, 2026.

Manchester’s Aviva Studios will also welcome the DJ for a two-night stint, completing a circuit of major UK cities designed to reach the widest possible audience. Doors will open at 7pm for both Glasgow shows, giving fans plenty of time to settle in before the performance begins.

Ticket sales for the tour will begin with a venue pre-sale for Alexandra Palace starting August 28, 2025, at 9:30 AM, followed by general ticket availability on August 29, 2025, at the same time. Fans can purchase tickets through official venue websites or Ticketmaster, with all events carrying an 18+ age restriction.

The “Acid Ballroom” concept hints at a performance style combining acid house rhythms with ballroom dance influences, consistent with Fatboy Slim’s reputation for high-energy, crowd-engaging performances. The tour will be promoted extensively through social media advertising to maximize fan engagement and reach new audiences across platforms.

Cook, whose hits include “Praise You,” “Right Here, Right Now,” and “Weapon of Choice,” recently celebrated his 100th Glastonbury set in 2025, further cementing his status in British music culture.

Accompanying the tour is Cook’s new illustrated book, “It Ain’t Over Till the Fatboy Sings,” offering fans a playful retrospective on his extensive career. This multimedia approach creates a thorough celebration of his contributions to electronic music over four decades.

The residency tour underscores Fatboy Slim’s remarkable longevity in a competitive industry and his continued relevance to dance culture. By selecting large, culturally significant venues, Cook affirms his position as not merely a performer but a pivotal figure in the evolution of electronic dance music across generations.

Cook has expertly developed diverse income streams throughout his career, balancing live performances with merchandise sales and music licensing opportunities.

At Alexandra Palace, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the venue’s Phoenix Bar & Pizzeria which offers delicious Italian stone-fired pizzas before the show begins at 6:30 PM.
