nashville farewell after 30 years

After more than three decades of defining contemporary country music, superstar Alan Jackson will take his final bow at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in what promises to be one of the most significant farewell concerts in country music history.

Country legend Alan Jackson prepares for his final performance after reshaping the Nashville sound for more than 30 years.

The Country Music Hall of Famer has titled the event “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale,” officially marking the conclusion of his touring career that has spanned over 30 years and produced 26 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The concert, expected to draw more than 50,000 fans, represents a homecoming for Jackson, who began his music career in Nashville before rising to become a three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Jackson’s decision to retire from touring comes as he manages Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a degenerative nerve disorder that has increasingly affected his performance abilities. The announcement came during a May 2025 concert in Milwaukee, where Jackson signaled the end of his 40-year journey in music.

An unprecedented lineup of country music stars will join Jackson on stage, including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Lee Ann Womack.

Additional Grammy, CMA, and ACM Award-winning artists will be announced in the coming months, creating what promoters describe as “a concert unlike any he’s ever done before.”

Tickets for the historic event became available to the general public on October 17, 2025, following a pre-sale period that began earlier in October. Fans interested in securing their seats early could pre-register until October 13 to gain access to the ticket pre-sales beginning October 15.

The massive production at Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, will feature elaborate staging and special effects befitting Jackson’s monumental career.

For Jackson, concluding his touring journey in Nashville carries symbolic significance.

“This city gave me my start,” Jackson noted when announcing the finale, highlighting the poetic symmetry of ending his road career in the same place where his musical dreams first took flight four decades ago.

The event will include a charitable component with $1.00 per ticket going to the CMT Research Foundation, which focuses on finding a cure for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.

Production designers have promised an immersive audio experience featuring layered soundscapes that will highlight Jackson’s iconic vocals throughout the venue.

Following his farewell tour, Jackson plans to focus on music licensing opportunities that will allow him to continue earning income without the physical demands of touring.
