Avex Music Group Doubles Down With Bi-Coastal Overhaul and Bold CEO Move

bi coastal company restructuring strategy

In a sweeping overhaul of its American operations, Avex Music Group has officially rebranded from Avex USA and established a bi-coastal presence with dedicated East and West Coast hubs, while simultaneously announcing Brandon Silverstein’s appointment as CEO following the company’s acquisition of S10 Entertainment.

The restructuring marks a significant milestone in Avex’s five-year expansion plan, which aims to solidify the company’s position as a global music powerhouse bridging Eastern and Western markets.

The new bi-coastal structure features strategic leadership appointments, with Zeke Silvera stepping into the role of SVP, Head of East Coast Operations and Head of A&R, based in New York.

Meanwhile, Spencer LeBoff has been named SVP, Head of West Coast Operations and Publishing & Acquisitions, operating from the company’s expanded West Hollywood headquarters.

Complementing these appointments, Megan Timko has been promoted to Head of Operations for both AMG and S10, tasked with scaling international infrastructure.

Avex Inc., the Japanese parent company with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion and a workforce of over 1,500 employees, acquired 100% of S10 Publishing’s catalog while increasing its stake in S10 Management.

This consolidation has positioned AMG as a global partnership between Avex Inc., Silverstein, and S10, encompassing publishing, management, and recorded music divisions across more than 50 cities worldwide.

The company’s impressive track record includes delivering 26+ No. 1 songs and generating hundreds of billions of streams globally.

Recent talent acquisitions, such as hitmaker Kamal Wilson, underscore AMG’s commitment to building a roster of premier creative professionals.

The expansion includes two state-of-the-art studio complexes in West Hollywood, enhancing the company’s producer and writer management capabilities.

Operating under the corporate motto “Really! Mad + Pure,” AMG maintains the entrepreneurial, risk-taking culture established by its Japanese founders while aggressively pursuing growth in the American market.

Jessica Roxana and Claudia Schumann have been appointed to lead the marketing efforts for both companies, strengthening the promotional infrastructure for their growing talent roster.

The company has successfully broken international acts like XG and ONE OR EIGHT, positioning itself as a true cross-continental force in the music industry.

The company’s 2025 accomplishments are particularly noteworthy, with multiple No. 1 hits demonstrating the effectiveness of their restructured operations and strategic leadership appointments.

AMG is also actively exploring sync deals for its artists, recognizing the significant revenue potential in licensing music for films, TV shows, and video games.

The company plans to leverage streaming platforms across global markets to maximize artist exposure and develop innovative distribution strategies for their expanding roster of talent.
