Country music powerhouse Luke Combs has cemented his unprecedented dominance on the Billboard charts, becoming the first country artist to achieve five consecutive career-opening #1 singles on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. His latest achievements include the diamond certification of “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” which recently topped country radio charts, contributing to his impressive 53 cumulative weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Combs’ recent single “Back in the Saddle” has climbed to No. 8 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, continuing his streak of chart success that includes four Diamond-certified singles—”Beautiful Crazy,” “When It Rains It Pours,” “Hurricane,” and “She Got the Best of Me”—each exceeding 10 million equivalent units.

Luke Combs’ chart dominance continues with four Diamond singles and “Back in the Saddle” already reaching No. 8 on Country Airplay.

Additionally, four singles from his Fathers & Sons album reached the coveted #1 position on Billboard in 2025, further solidifying his reputation as a chart juggernaut.

Beyond his Billboard achievements, Combs has transcended traditional genre boundaries, with NPR Music acknowledging his emergence as “a global pop star.” His crossover appeal is evidenced by headlining slots at major festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo—a first for a country act—and collaborations with pop stars Post Malone and Bruno Mars, the latter resulting in the genre-blending track “Boots & Groove” which showcases his ability to integrate country and funk genres seamlessly. His team has leveraged strategic advertising across social media platforms to expand his reach beyond traditional country audiences.

The artist’s commercial success has reached historic proportions, with total recorded sales and streams hitting 168 million units, surpassing country legend Garth Brooks’ 162.5 million. Combs has diversified his income through sync deals that have placed his music in major films and television shows, creating additional revenue streams beyond traditional album sales. His live performances have proven equally impressive, headlining major festivals across the country and organizing the “Concert for Carolina” at Bank of America Stadium, which raised over $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene relief. Fans can look forward to seeing him headline the Boots In The Park Festival at Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta Park in May 2025.

A two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year and Grand Ole Opry member with eleven CMA Awards to his name, Combs continues to redefine what’s possible for contemporary country artists. His partnership with Opry Entertainment Group recently launched Category 10, a multi-level Nashville entertainment complex, further expanding his influence beyond recorded music and into the business side of country music.
