In a significant move for Los Angeles’ music scene, Jordan Anderson has been appointed Senior Talent Buyer at The Bellwether, a 1,500-capacity venue in downtown Los Angeles. The announcement, made public in early September 2025, marks a strategic acquisition by co-owners Another Planet Entertainment and Teragram Presents as they bolster their Southern California presence.

Anderson, who has been booking the iconic Troubadour venue since Fall 2021, brings a reputation for identifying emerging artists and creating meaningful connections between performers and audiences. Her departure from the Troubadour prompted the appointment of Kyle LaValley as her successor there, while Anderson steps into overseeing the expansive 45,000-square-foot Bellwether facility.

Anderson’s keen eye for rising talent and audience connection has defined her Troubadour tenure, making her ideal for The Bellwether’s expansive new chapter.

Her responsibilities extend beyond the main room to include programming for The Virginian restaurant and Camille’s, a 600-capacity space within the complex. Before her time at the Troubadour, Anderson worked in Nashville’s music industry as a marketing professional and artist manager. Anderson will also support booking teams at Teragram Presents’ downtown venues, including the Teragram Ballroom and Moroccan Lounge, while assisting Another Planet Entertainment’s programming team across their venue portfolio. Anderson is celebrated for her achievement of setting a record of 300+ shows at the Troubadour in 2024, featuring breakout artists like Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp.

“Jordan’s experience, passion, and vision for live music make her the perfect addition to our team,” said Allen Scott, President of Concerts & Festivals at Another Planet Entertainment. “Her ability to create opportunities for artists early in their careers has been remarkable.”

Michael Swier, founder of Teragram Presents, echoed this sentiment, noting, “Her love of discovery and talent promotion defines what it means to be a true talent buyer.”

Anderson will work alongside Senior Talent Buyer Nick Barrie, who focuses primarily on San Francisco’s Castro Theatre reopening, another major project under the companies’ joint umbrella. Industry insiders view her appointment as strengthening the collaborative booking approach across multiple venues while enhancing programming diversity.

Known for her market-savvy booking strategies that have influenced artist career trajectories throughout Los Angeles, Anderson is expected to play an essential role in taking The Bellwether into its next growth chapter while continuing to shape the city’s vibrant live music landscape. Her expertise in social media engagement has proven invaluable for connecting emerging artists with their target audiences across platforms. Her innovative approach to talent acquisition includes helping artists leverage streaming platform features to build their audience before booking them for live performances.
