A grim discovery has shaken the entertainment world as the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas was found in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to rising music star D4vd. The macabre finding occurred after the vehicle, which had been impounded at a Hollywood tow yard, began emitting a foul odor that prompted workers to investigate its source.

The Tesla, registered to the singer in Hempstead, Texas, had been parked on Bluebird Avenue since July 29—coincidentally, the same day D4vd departed for a concert in San Francisco as part of his “Withered” world tour. Neighborhood surveillance footage captured the vehicle being relocated to this location, though the identity of the driver remains undisclosed as the Los Angeles Police Department continues its investigation.

Rivas, a teenager from Lake Elsinore, had a troubled history according to police records, with Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies responding to her home 11 times between February 2024 and April 2025, primarily for minor crime investigations. Deputies were called to her residence approximately 30 minutes after she was reported missing, though details surrounding her disappearance remain unclear.

The abandoned Tesla first drew official attention on August 27 when a parking enforcement officer marked it for violating local ordinances. After receiving a citation on September 3, the vehicle was finally impounded on September 5, having remained stationary for over a month in the same location.

Private investigator Steve Fisher has provided vital video evidence to the LAPD, who are meticulously analyzing the timeline to determine whether the vehicle’s placement constituted a deliberate attempt to conceal evidence. The vehicle was discovered at the 1000 block of N. Mansfield Avenue where police responded to reports of the suspicious odor. Investigators have also uncovered what Fisher describes as sadistic materials at d4vd’s former residence, raising further questions about the circumstances of Celeste’s death.

D4vd, known for chart-topping hits like “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” has restricted comments on his social media platforms following the incident but has yet to issue any public statement regarding the investigation. Industry insiders speculate this incident could severely impact his sync licensing deals, which have been a significant source of income for the rising star.

With millions of followers across various platforms, the case has generated significant public interest, though investigators caution against speculation that might compromise their ongoing efforts to uncover the circumstances surrounding Rivas’ death. Before his rise to fame, D4vd had been following the traditional path of building his career through consistent releases and strategic collaborations with producers.
