Legendary gothic rock pioneers The Cure have announced their highly anticipated 2026 UK and Ireland Tour, marking their triumphant return to large-scale performances following the release of their acclaimed album “Songs of a Lost World.”

After four decades, The Cure returns triumphantly to stadiums with their ethereal melancholy and timeless gothic anthems.

The extensive tour, which kicks off on June 3, 2026, at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival, includes headline shows at Dublin’s Marlay Park (June 26), Belfast’s Ormeau Park (June 28), Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park (August 21), and Edinburgh Summer Sessions (August 23), alongside appearances at several major European festivals.

The band will also perform at the Isle of Wight Festival between June 18-21, before continuing their European circuit with stops in Austria (Nova Rock Festival), France (Rock en Seine), Poland (Open’er Festival), and Norway (Øya Festival).

This ambitious schedule follows the November 2024 release of “Songs of a Lost World,” which reached #1 on album charts and features singles like “Alone” and “A Fragile Thing.” The band has meticulously prepared high-quality audio for their live performances to replicate the album’s sonic character.

Fans can expect carefully curated support acts personally selected by frontman Robert Smith. Mogwai will support the Edinburgh show, while Slowdive appears at both Manchester and Edinburgh dates.

The Twilight Sad joins for Dublin and Belfast performances, with Just Mustard appearing at Dublin, Belfast, and Edinburgh shows. The Slow Readers Club rounds out the Manchester line-up, alongside Stella and the Dreaming at various dates.

Tickets for the UK and Ireland headline shows go on general sale October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, while Isle of Wight Festival tickets were made available on October 1, 2025. The band’s dedicated followers can avoid substantial service fees by purchasing through Ticket Club members.

Members of The Cure’s mailing list will receive exclusive pre-sale access. Fans are encouraged to sign up as they will receive a confirmation email immediately upon registration.

The band plans to conduct thorough venue soundchecks at each location to ensure optimal audio quality tailored to each unique performance space.

The tour represents The Cure’s first major live performances since an intimate London Troxy event in November 2024 and follows Robert Smith’s recent high-profile appearance with Olivia Rodrigo at Glastonbury 2025.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, who formed in 1978, continue to demonstrate their enduring influence and popularity in alternative music, positioning their 2026 tour alongside other major acts including Metallica and Foreigner performing in the UK and Ireland that summer.
