As Sydney Harbor prepares to provide a stunning backdrop for live music once again, Taronga Zoo has announced its highly anticipated Twilight at Taronga 2026 concert series, scheduled to run from February 6 to March 7 across five music-filled weekends.

The diverse lineup features both established Australian music icons and emerging talents, combining entertainment with panoramic harbor views while supporting crucial wildlife conservation initiatives.

Experience Australian music excellence against Sydney’s iconic skyline while helping protect our unique wildlife.

Folk-rock group The Paper Kites will open the series on February 6, setting the tone for a month of eclectic performances. The following day, children’s entertainer Emma Memma will headline the Lil’ Twilight session, bringing her unique blend of music, movement, and sign language to younger audiences.

Other prominent acts throughout the series include The Rubens, Vera Blue, and hip-hop collective Bliss n Eso, culminating with ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again closing the event on March 7.

Taronga Zoo, with over 25 years of experience hosting after-hours events, transforms its idyllic grounds into a magical concert venue where attendees can enjoy picnics while surrounded by the zoo’s unique atmosphere.

The series represents more than entertainment; it serves as a fundraiser for Taronga’s new Wildlife Hospital, which will become Australia’s first specialist Wildlife Veterinary Teaching Hospital upon completion.

Ticket sales begin with an exclusive presale for Zoo Friends members starting October 28, followed by general public availability. Each ticket purchased directly contributes to wildlife conservation efforts, specifically the development of advanced medical facilities for treating injured native animals.

The Classic Hits Live performance will bring together Australian music legends Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Wendy Matthews, Mi-Sex, and Spy vs. Spy for a nostalgic evening celebrating iconic Australian sounds. The Valentine’s Day show on 14 February promises to be especially popular with couples looking for a romantic evening with harbor views.

This family-friendly event encourages community participation while supporting environmental causes, offering something for music enthusiasts of all ages and tastes. For participating musicians, this unique venue presents an opportunity to expand their revenue streams beyond traditional concert settings while connecting with conservation-minded audiences.

Artists performing at the event will have the opportunity to leverage playlist pitching strategies to gain further exposure on streaming platforms before and after their live performances.

Evening performances will welcome guests when gates open at 6pm, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy Sydney’s sunset before the music begins.

Those interested in attending can register for exclusive presale access and enter for a chance to win special experiences at this unique confluence of music, wildlife, and conservation.
