HYBE America bolstered its executive team with the appointment of Jenni Pfaff as Chief People and Change Officer in September 2025, signaling a strategic shift in the company’s organizational approach amid recent leadership changes.
Pfaff, who previously served as EVP of Strategy, Integration and Operations at Warner Chappell Music, brings substantial experience in global strategy implementation, organizational restructuring, and data-driven decision making to her new role.
Leveraging expertise in global strategy and organizational transformation, Pfaff brings data-driven leadership to HYBE America’s evolving corporate landscape.
The hiring comes just months after a significant leadership alteration at HYBE America, where Scooter Braun stepped down as CEO in mid-2025 to assume an advisory position while maintaining his board seat.
Isaac Lee, an executive with extensive entertainment industry experience, replaced Braun as CEO and Chairman of HYBE Americas, overseeing divisions including Big Machine Label Group and QC Media Holdings while continuing to lead the company’s Latin American operations.
In her new position, Pfaff will report directly to Lee and manage all human resources functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, performance management, and internal communications.
Her appointment reflects HYBE America’s commitment to transform its people operations during a period of rapid growth and evolving industry demands.
“Building scalable frameworks for our human resources is critical as we continue expanding our multinational roster across multiple genres,” noted a company representative familiar with the strategic objectives behind the appointment.
The leadership restructuring supports HYBE’s expansion strategy, which has included significant acquisitions like the $320 million purchase of Quality Control Music and a distribution deal with Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def label.
Braun previously noted his pride in these accomplishments and described HYBE’s chairman Bang Si-Hyuk as a visionary and genius who has shaped the company’s ambitious direction.
These moves have strengthened the company’s position in hip-hop and urban music markets.
Pfaff’s emphasis on compassionate leadership and productive work environments aligns with HYBE America’s goal of positioning itself as a “magnet” for artists, employees, and business partners.
The company aims to maximize its revenue potential through developing diverse income streams for artists on its roster, including sync deals, merchandising, and digital distribution.
Industry experts believe this strategic appointment will help HYBE America better support emerging artists through artistic development while simultaneously implementing sound business practices.
The company expects her experience in organizational change will prove invaluable as it navigates continued growth in the competitive American music market while fostering a collaborative corporate culture designed to attract and retain top industry talent.
Pfaff brings impressive industry credentials with previous positions at PwC and Activision Blizzard, adding depth to HYBE America’s executive leadership team.
